Islands
Top of the Morning and welcome to a rainy autumn day here in the land of the Angles and the Saxons. I’m sitting here, drinking my coffee and enjoying the color of the room which is now appropriately accented by this noontime light and a plump orange pumpkin sitting on our large, rustic cabin of a coffee table. I wish I could tell you that I can look out of our window and see mountains resting high in the distance, but they’re nowhere near us. Although I know that there are mountains out there somewhere on this island.
Speaking of islands, one thing that you don’t think of frequently when you live in England is that you’re part of an island nation. That just doesn’t seem to fit, considering the meteorological circumstances. Fiji. Now that’s an island nation. Though I do like this island that I’m on, weather and all.
